The Palm Coast Plein Air Painters are painting every Wednesday morning through out the year. Usually we are painting somewhere from Ormond Beach to the south and the Matanza Inlet to the north. On the first Wednesday of every month we have "Adventure Wednesday" when we go beyond our comfort zone to a special painting site, like one of Florida's beautiful springs or State Park.
There is no fee to join this group of painters. If we go into a State or National Park there is an entry fee of $4 at the State Parks. We do go to a lot of State Parks, so you may want to get a year around pass. It is up to you to bring your own supplies. Artists are painting in a wide variety of mediums. We have oil painters, acrylic painters, pastel and watercolor artists. We also have a couple of artists leaning towards Urban Sketching.
This is not a class or workshop. This is simply an opportunity to join other artists painting at local sites. For those who want to, we often bring a sack lunch and meet at a picnic table around noon time. Then we can view our mornings art works and have a critique of our work, if we want too. No pressure, you can join in, or not. I always like to hear other artists make suggestions as to how I can improve my work, it helps a lot.
You may join this group and get a weekly email telling you where we meet by emailing your request to me at [email protected]
